Location: Newington, CT

Pay Range: 35-42/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Create structured learning environments that accommodate ASD students unique needs
Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Comfortable with SPIRE - a scripted/structured reading program

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred)
Valid CT State Special Education Teaching License (DSAP certification is a plus but not required)
At least 1 year of Previous elementary school teaching experience
Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) students, evaluations and providing services for ASD students
